Tutoring

We provide our students with top of the line tutoring.  Our sessions are one on one or two-five students at a time. We build relationships with our students as we engage with them and gain their trust while helping them develop confidence. After we establish a relationship, we get to work and begin educating them.  We focus on reading, math, history, science and Spanish as we empower them to take charge of their academics.

Workshops

We offer informational workshops for both parents and students.  Some examples of topics we focus on are:  study skills and routines, time management, goal setting, test taking strategies, reading comprehension tips, and tackling math skills. These sessions are virtual and in person.

Saturday Enrichment Groups

Our Saturday Sessions are where multiage students come together in engaging virtual sessions. These meetings focus on enhancing reading, writing, math, and science skills through interactive activities. Students have the opportunity to share their thoughts and learn from one another, while fostering a sense of confidence and friendship. It's a fun way to grow academically while in the company of peers!  Check out a few captured moments from our very first Saturday Session copy and paste the link. https://shot2perfection57.pixieset.com/atransformedmindtutoring/video/

Prior to Mrs. Candia working with my daughter, her teacher told us that she was struggling with reading comprehension.  My daughter loved her Zoom sessions with Mrs. Candia, who is kind, patient, skilled & who makes learning so fun!

Since then, my daughter has received awards for reading, like the one attached.  She's consistently gotten A's in English Language Arts & received an Exceeds Expectations ranking in the Language Arts portion of State testing!  Mrs. Candia's help enabled her to excel in other courses that require reading comprehension as well, such Social Studies and Science.  In short, Mrs. Candia is such a blessing to my daughter & my family!

We love ATM Tutoring! My daughter has been working with Mrs. Tracee for over 2 years. She loves that Mrs. Tracee makes reading fun. She finds reading with Mrs. Tracee easy. I love that she provides an environment that is compatible to her learning style. Last year she went from a B- in reading to an A+. I have seen her confidence grow. Even though she is an honor roll student, the tutoring sessions help teach her  study habits and reinforce what she is learning. It has provided time  for early intervention on concepts she may not have grasped. Mrs. Tracee is a blessing to our family. God has called and graced her teaching gift.

My son was below his reading and with the help of Mrs. Tracee, he is now reading on his grade level and thriving.  He is a fluent reader and knows how to read multisyllabic words!
